As a graduate of a traditional college and someone who has taken online classes, I believe that online college degrees should be worth just as much as a traditional degree if not more. E-Learning universities offer three distinct advantages over other colleges: affordability, convenience, and flexibility.

Distance education open up the idea of a college degree to a new set of people who would have never thought they could afford a college degree. The price of college is rising incredibly fast and loans are becoming harder to get, so web-based universities will be key to the future generation. The institution also can avoid many infrastructural things that keep the prices low for students; they do not need a large campus or housing so they can make everything affordable and convenient.
An online college also offers a level of convenience that traditional colleges will never be able to match. It is easy for a full time worker to attend college at night from his home; no other type of college can duplicate that. I really enjoy studying and learning from home and I think that online schools, because of this, are the future.

Buying a case of Raman noodles and purchasing a pot and pan set will give them a head start to taking care of themselves in the kitchen. Basic items like blenders, pots and pans, crock pots and dishes will help them to eat better and save money instead of hitting the late night drive thru each night.
Sure, some of the stuff on this list might not fit in with the budget and others might be the type of gift that no one dreams of giving; but it’s important to make sure your college student is taken care of.
