For those people who have gone to college, you know that it can get expensive. In one hand you have tuition and the next you have rent and food, maybe some gas, and sometimes a student doesn’t have time to hold a job in school.
Add all that up and then add a few more years on for those who attend pharmacy school, and you’ve got a lot to deal with. So how can you get by as easy as possible? Scholarships are a great help! And you don’t have to pay them back like you do with loans.
For studying pharmacy, tuition costs can range anywhere from $20,000 - $50,000 a year. Sure, most of them offer some form of financial aid to help you get by, but it’s usually not enough, or they slap you with a huge bill once you graduate.
A student must go roughly through six years of school to become a pharmacist. All that schooling will allow them to send out prescriptions to people, and hopefully not to those in a drug detox facility.
